Best Targeting for Brand Awareness

Answer: Custom Affinity Audiences

Explanation:

Custom affinity audiences are audience groups that can be made in google analytics. These audience groups are created with the same interests that align with your target customer base.

Ideally, this group is the relevant audience and, therefor, the fittest for achieving brand awareness goals. In Google Analytics these groups can be determined through the use of four separate criteria, interests, URLs, places, or applications.

Depending on your goals, which criteria you use will be different. However, as a rule of thumb, interests and URLs provide the best opportunity to dig down and identify potential interests and affinities shared by your target market.

If you are interested in learning more about Google Analytics or are studying for an upcoming Google Analytics exam, stick around as we delve into the most commonly asked questions about GA preparedness. Additionally, check out our recent post on matching the correct auto bidding strategy to the related campaign goal.
